Who we are

Hi, I’m Amy—the maker behind Heart For Our Home.

Being a mother and a military wife has shaped so much of who I am and how I see home. Over the years, I’ve learned that home isn’t always about a particular place - it’s about the people we love, the little things that ground us, and creating a sense of comfort wherever life takes us.

Heart For Our Home grew from a simple desire to care well for the people and places I love. What started with creating nourishing, thoughtfully made products for my own home has grown into a small-batch business rooted in faith, family, and a love for simple, intentional living.

I believe there is something beautiful about slowing down, choosing simple ingredients, returning to time-honored practices, and being thoughtful about what we bring into our homes and put on our bodies.

Every product I make is handcrafted in small batches with that same heart for home. From our tallow skincare to our botanical goods, I choose ingredients with intention and create each product with care.

And now, one of the most special parts of this journey is bringing my family into the heart of HFOH—helping us reach our goal of rendering our own tallow in-house and making this family story even more personal.

At the center of it all is faith. I want Heart For Our Home to be a reflection of gratitude for what God has entrusted to us: our families, our homes, our bodies, and the everyday moments in between.
